About Theo
Hi, I’m Theo. I’m an author, speaker, mixed media artist and story workshop facilitator. I live and work on a curious island in the Salish Sea. I drench life with the lively liquids of play. I gather community and cast my voice across the airwaves.
What brought me to story?
First, the myths from my homeland in Turtle Island’s great northern grasslands. Later, a far eastern monastery steeped me in stories and ceremonies. Finally, I’m learning to swim in the lore of my own people, sprouted from the stones of a fabled frosty isle.
I studied and practiced Indian and European mythology, as well as storytelling and story making with the School for Sacred Storytelling, the School of Mythopoetics, Tom Hirons and others. I’m deeply moved by the work of Bill Plotkin, John O’donohue, Martin Prechtel and Srila Narayana Maharaja, to name a few.
With clients, I help unearth your own stories, both personal and business (your brand’s story) and make storied multimedia offerings. I’d love to help you explore the many rich stories you hold, just waiting to be heard.
